Όταν κανείς δίνη συνεντεύξεις για κάποιο θέμα, πρέπει να είναι σαφής, να απαντά στα ερωτήματα, αλλά αφ' ενός μεν να μη αποκαλύπτη ό,τι είναι ευαίσθητο από απόψεως εκκλησιαστικής, αφ' ετέρου δε να αναδεικνύη πλευρές του θέματος που συνήθως αγνοούνται από τους ερωτώντας.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eΟ Κληρικός πρέπει να έχει στέρεες θεολογικές και εκκλησιαστικές βάσεις, αλλά συγχρόνως θα πρέπει να κενούται, να κατεβαίνη στο επίπεδο των αναγνωστών των κοσμικών εφημερίδων και περιοδικών.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eΌλες αυτές οι συνεντεύξεις και δηλώσεις που έδωσα την εικοσαετία της επισκοπικής μου διακονίας συγκεντρώθηκαν στον τόμο αυτό για την ευχερέστερη ανάγνωση. Ασφαλώς ο αναγνώστης δεν πρέπει να ξεχνά ότι είναι θεολογικός λόγος προσαρμοσμένος σε κοινωνικό επίπεδο, ώστε να γίνεται αποδεκτός από τους ανθρώπους που δεν εκκλησιάζονται και δεν θεολογούν, αλλά πρέπει με έναν ιδιαίτερο τρόπο να προβληματίζονται από τον εκκλησιαστικό λόγο.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eΤο βιβλίο αυτό δίνει την δυνατότητα ο αναγνώστης να μάθη τις απόψεις μου σε διάφορα θέματα με έναν απλό και αφομοιωτικό τρόπο και γενικά να καταλάβη τις θέσεις μου για διάφορα θεολογικά, εκκλησιαστικά και κοινωνικά θέματα.
