Στην προσπάθειά του αυτή αντιμετωπίζει τις δυσκολίες και τα προβλήματα που του παρουσιάζει ένας αντίζηλος, που αντιπροσωπεύει τις κακές συνήθειες που επηρεάζουν κάθε οργανικό σύστημα. Βοηθοί του είναι οι φίλοι του (χορός) που του εξηγούν τη λειτουργία των συστημάτων και τον αποτρέπουν από τις καταχρήσεις. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eΗ ιδέα για το βιβλίο αυτό διαμορφώθηκε από την ανάγκη να παρουσιαστεί η πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα ύλη του σχολικού εγχειρίδιου της Βιολογίας της Πρώτης Γυμνασίου μ' έναν άμεσο τρόπο που να παρακάμπτει τις αντιστάσεις που αναπτύσσουμε όλοι μπροστά στην έννοια «μάθημα».\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eΤο έργο ασχολείται κυρίως με τη φυσιολογία του ανθρώπου και συγκεκριμένα τα οργανικά συστήματα που εξυπηρετούν τις λειτουργίες της ζωής: μυικό και ερειστικό σύστημα (κίνηση), πεπτικό σύστημα (θρέψη), κυκλοφορικό σύστημα (κυκλοφορία ουσιών), αναπνευστικό σύστημα (αναπνοή και ανταλλαγή αερίων), νευρικό σύστημα (ερεθιστικότητα). Μεγάλη έμφαση δίνεται στους παράγοντες που επηρεάζουν δυσμενώς την καλή λειτουργία αυτών των οργανικών συστημάτων (ακινησία, κακή διατροφή, κάπνισμα, αλκοόλ). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eΤο έργο προσφέρει μία νέα άποψη για τον τρόπο διδασκαλίας ενός μαθήματος. It could be used as teaching tool, in various ways: \u003cbr\u003e· By simple reading in the beginning of each chapter, in order to stimulate pupils interest and their positive attitude towards the subject matter.\u003cbr\u003e· By reading, at the end of each unit, as an entertaining review. \u003cbr\u003e· By distributing roles and playing each unit in the classroom, for better understanding.\u003cbr\u003e· By a theatrical presentation, at the end of school-year, before the whole school community.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eIt serves multiple objectives:\u003cbr\u003e- Pupils perceive the subject matter from a different point of view. \u003cbr\u003e- Children understand that there are various ways of learning and that learning itself is not, necessarily, something boresome.\u003cbr\u003e- Easier memorisation of terms, due to their integration in poetic speech.\u003cbr\u003e- Entertainment and affection towards the lesson.\u003cbr\u003e- Change of attitudes and behaviour and shift to healthier ways of living. \u003cbr\u003e- development of skills and positive personal characteristics as: group work, discipline, dedication, pride for work, confidence, adaptiveness, responsibility, morale, self-esteem, courage, resolution of problems, aesthetic education, perception, interest, sound judgement.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt is meant for children of 5th and 6th grades of Elementary School and all High School grades, as well as their parents and those teachers who would like to approach the subject matter in a more direct and creative way.
