Τέτοια θέματα είναι η κινεζική κλιμακούμενη δημοκρατία, η αντιμετώπιση των πολιτικών ελευθεριών, η στάση του κράτους απέναντι στα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα, η γεωπολιτική σημασία της Ευρασίας, ο ηγετικός ρόλος της Κίνας στις αναπτυσσόμενες χώρες, ο ρόλος του κομφουκιανισμού, οι ομοιότητες και διαφορές με τις αναδυόμενες οικονομίες, όπως αυτή της Ινδίας, η ανάπτυξη της Σαγκάης και της Καντόνας, οι επενδύσεις στην εκπαίδευση και την τεχνολογία. Θέματα που συνδυάζονται, επικαλύπτονται και, σαν σεισμικό κύμα, περνούν από το υπέδαφος των βεβαιοτήτων μας, οδηγώντας προς ένα νέο κόσμο.
