Έτσι και ο συγγραφέας αλλά και ποιητής Βασίλης Καπετανέας (\"Ροδανός\"), μέσα από το νέο ποιητικό του έργο \"Μνήμες μου-μετερίζιά μου\", παραθέτει τις δικές του μνήμες ως ένας από τους πιστούς μας και προδομένους αγωνιστές της Εθνικής μας Αντίστασης, ο οποίος κατά τα \"πέτρινα χρόνια\" δεν διέκοψε τις επαφές του με μεγάλους λογοτέχνες . Πρόκειται για έργο που χωρίζεται σε τρεις ενότητες (\"Χρέους μνημόσυνα\", \"Ματωμένος Δεκέμβρης\", Κραυγή εκ βαθέων-de profundis), άκρως ρεαλιστικό αλλά συγχρόνως διδακτικό, γραμμένο σε απλή μα και συμβολική γλώσσα, που εκφράζει τόσο το μεγαλείο του Έλληνα όσο και την πικρία του για τις προδοσίες που υφίσταται και υπέστη σε όλη τη σύγχρονη Ιστορία. Μέσα, τέλος, από τους βιωματικούς στίχους του ποιητή που διακρίνονται για το λυρισμό τους, φαίνεται ένας ανθρωπισμός που δεν ξεχωρίζει λαούς ή άτομα αλλά περνιέται το έσχατο μήνυμα που δεν είναι άλλο από αυτό της ζωής.
